The mandatory two-week orientation period is designed to facilitate students’ integration into Parisian life and provide a smooth transition into the academic semester.
This orientation includes a French language refresher course, academic advising that guides students when making their course selection and initial discovery of the city (museums, guided tours of Paris and the vicinity, university visits…).
EDUCO provides all students with a practical information booklet “Information Utiles” to answer basic questions on public transportation, cellular phones, sports facilities, Internet access, banking, grocery shopping… and help them adjust to a new lifestyle.
